A. To us, "pookie" is a term of endearment. It means
darling and sweetheart. It's what you call the one
you love. We thought it was the perfect name for the
only product you practically kiss.
Pookie lip balm is a true collaborative effort and a labor of love, made for friends, by friends.
It's the creation of New York University graduates and
friends Nicole DiPietra, Nanette Guarda and Gianine
Rothschild. The product was conceived when Nanette
decided to make her own lip balm as an alternative to
the products available on the mass market. After too
many hours to count, she came up with a product she
loved: nourishing and conditioning, not too waxy, not
too greasy, not too hard, not too soft...just right!
